Shichi's Portfolio

I'm a product designer with a Master's in HCI from Indiana University , and I've spent most of my career embedded as the only designer on the team. At Tiger Analytics I'm the sole designer across oil & gas and financial data platforms for Quantum Capital Group - which means research, architecture, prototyping, and shipping all land on the same desk.

That's how LP Nexus went from zero to MVP in three months , and how Well & Field Data Operations launched onboarding 6M+ data points - a product I contributed HTML/CSS/JS to in order to get v1 out the door.

Before that: UX for an AI platform at BeProEx with safety-by-design decision flows, haptic and pressure-based mobile interactions at DeepVue, and data visualization for portfolio managers at Fidelity. My background is in electronics engineering - I keep gravitating toward systems that have to earn trust before they're useful.

Away from screens, I'm usually hiking the Cascades , filling a trail journal, and slowly sketching out a sunrise-and-wave tattoo I still haven't committed to.
